Mt. Apo Geothermal

This is the view that welcomes you in the morning as you traverse the rough road from Kidapawan going to Mt. Apo. The summit of the mountain towers prominently and a little under it is a bulbous stream of white cloud from the geothermal power plants installed nearby.

Geothermal energy makes use of the earth’s heated fluids to generate electricity. It one of the renewable energy sources along with hydropower, wind, and solar.
