Davao is alight this Christmas as the city celebrates its annual Pasko Fiesta. Hundreds of white parols hung in the old acacia trees in Rizal Park and accented by now popular teardrop-animated blue christmas lights.
People’s Park is also awash with light bulbs, colorful lanterns, and santa claus figures which decorate the tall but still growing African tulips. A giant christmas tree, consisting of colorful gift boxes with stuff toys of famous cartoon characters, welcomes you as you enter the park.
